Roca, one of Spain's largest industrial groups, founded in 1917 by the Roca brothers, purchased, in 1999, Keramik Holding AG Laufen, the company that owned the Incepa (Ceramic Tiles and Bath Ceramic Ware), Celite and Logasa brands.
The Laufen Group, of Swiss origin, started its activities in 1892, and it began its international expansion in 1952, when Incepa Revestimentos Cerâmicos was founded in the city of Campo Largo (PR), and the company entered the Brazilian market. Diversification caused the Group to purchase, in 1976, Cidamar, a Bath ceramic ware manufacturer located in the city of Jundiaí (SP), and, in 1997, the Group acquired Celite, thus becoming the absolute leader in the Brazilian market.
The Roca Group, nowadays a world leader in bathroom products, has 42 plants located in 17 different countries.
